400 big end
« on: June 18, 2009, 07:15:45 am »
Hi,
being new to the hand shake and goat feeding i have a couple of questions if any one can help me with?

The big end bearing, does this not have shims each side of it? mine seems to be able to float from side to side and allow the bearing to half line up with the rod.
The best place to buy motor bits and frame parts? eg. gaskets, clutch parts, crank seal retainer, brake shoes.

Any help with this would appreciated.

ps the hay for the goat is costing a arm and a leg.

Chris.

Hi
The rod is located by the gudgeon  pin thrust washers (at the top end),you should have been reading your parts book instead of thinking about your initiation ceremony , a goat is the usual but here in Aus and NZ a sheep is permitted ,
cheers

Chris Les at Mainly Maico does have some CZ stuff.Other option is Ron Gill in WA.0897918358.Have your part numbers ready as he is retired and needs some time to check his stock at home.Could you bring the parts book to Roxburgh,so I can get some numbers also?Cheers Paul.
