I think that bike looks swwweeeeeet, there is enough CR's on mx tracks this one road racing would be a delight to see and hear.

heres the later model CR250 roadracer,at Broadford couple years back,much preferr the earlier brakes  :P
work,the curse of the racing class!!
if a hammer dosn't fix it,you have a electrical problem!!

I'm told if you run a steel gear lever rather than the standard alloy one and an XL350 cush drive rear hub, the CR250 gearboxes last much longer. Just heresay though, don't know if it works but the theory is sound.

the MT has the cush drive and steel gear lever , and less horse power
and the gear box is still  suss, dogs don't engage properly and the webs on second gear driven crack through to the centre, third gear doesn't engage very well and gets worse when the selectors and drum wear,

Perhaps Noel's example is from a CR that 'spected'  :D

The bike for sale looks pretty cool and the shocks may even WORK on a road racer !!!
