US Postal charges
« on: June 15, 2009, 12:12:04 pm »
I've just purchased three cables from Bikebandit in the states cost USD $45 and damn me the postal charges USD $79.07.  When i question this, their explanation was that was their stand ard postal charge, what a rip off.

On the other hand i purchased a seat cover from another vendor $30.00 USD, postal charge $18.00 USD, go figure!!

Bike bandit use UPS, which to Australia is normally 3 times what the USPS charges for first class airmail and 2 times for priority airmail. Bike bandit use UPS because they have a reliable tracking system and that avoids customers complaining when parcels don't arrive.

Today I just got a package from the UK that was stamped "Missent to India" (even though address label was clear) , I was charged 5.75 pounds but actual postage was 90p and to cap things off they are not the stated size as advertized.
