Good luck with the resto, i had a 83 C1 new back in the day, wanted a 84 but like a fool tried a 500 instead...nearly killed me. These are a great bike that are rare, but worth the effort.

Looks good mate, I saw some neat KXs ripping around at CD6 but they were definitely outnumbered by  CRs, YZs and RMs

Look forward to the progress pics

Hi Carbyman

Very nice.  Do you mind telling me where you found your tank stickers - Nightmare Racing don't appear to sell that particular style.  And, what made you go with green fork gaiters?  I've been trying to decide between black or no gaiters - but green looks nice!  I have an 82 125

Cheers, Jim

Hey guys
The tank stickers were made by motor grafixs at lidcombe sydney Around $60
The KX liquide cooled and not fitted yet uni-trak from reproduction decals Approx $60 for the pair USD + post
The green gators i picked up 2 pairs at Ballarat Swap meet 2 years ago there was a guy there in the bike section that had a big box full of them so i have 2 x KX250C1 's  so i bought 2 pairs .. thats the reason also why i used them
Thanks for the praise guys  :)
