It's on the cards, Hoony..............  ::)

If I'm smart, I pick a bike that's really slow to match my skill level..............  :-\
Any suggestions?  ;)

Could be worse, I was the president of the Puckapunyal Motorsports Club during the 80's. We used to do a 4 hour hare and hound once a year this was a "Black" meeting ;) and we used to get 300 pluss riders. This one year I think it was 85 or 86 this 7ft tall mountain man with the grizzly adams beard :D, showed up and rode a Honda XLV 750 with knobbies. He rode it "Ironman" and completed the ride, he finished in the top 10 in his class. :o

Bugga me!!

Mmmmmm.................. promise not to laugh, but I had given it a thought and it's certainly achievable.  :P
But I was kinda thinking of something vintage. Maybe a Beesa Bantam wouldn't be too fast for me.  :-\

I'm keen, Tex. I've got family and mates up there that could help us out with fuel stops etc.
My wife mentioned that she'd never seen me race and loves the desert, so it was her idea.  ;D

Everyone has heard of the winner of the Vets over 45 this year (Phil Lovett) but what about the bloke in second place?
Andy Sutcliffe who came in behind Phil was the Aussie Trials Champ in 1987
