Kiwi Starters for Nationals
« on: May 27, 2009, 04:33:16 pm »
Just wondering if any of the Kiwi Clan are planning an assault on the Vintage MX Nationals? Maybe make off with some of the silverware, Melbourne Cup style.

I think another Kiwi (Bryan S) is heading over and is riding a honda 250 in evo and he can ride my bike (albrid-3's avatar) thats already over there in pre78 125. Plus there are a couple of other rumours that others are going over.
If at first you dont succeed, give up and drink beer

There's one kiwi coming from Darwin for the Nats, if the second one was coming (me) then with my blinding slowness I'd be accused of helping the ozzies!

OZZY V KIWI and the Nats

Bring it on! ;D
The older I get, the faster I was

If a few of the fast Kiwi's came over it'd be just like the Trans Tasman series of the 70's. There was some great racing between the 2 countries and it would be no different now.

You mean Mike Jolley Dave. Yes he's coming, I'm picking him up at Sydney airport on Wednesday morning. The Maico Honda is staying in NZ though. He rides a B44 these days anyway and will be riding a loaner Weslake Metisse at CD6.
