Thanks for that Graham.  Just might get down to that.  The CD6 Vinduro loop should get the juices flowing for another ride on the trusty husky a few weekends after  :) :) :)

Vinduro was started for Pre 85 not happy to see them doing Pre 90 under the Vinduro banner up north,,owell bring on radiators and USD forks and bye Vinduro Pre 85 bikes back to the shed for you lot, time to go soft again and ride mod bikes with good shockers front & back and disc bracks allround plus radiators, might be time to sell most of my Vinduro bikes off, and keep one bike for the Vic Pre 85 Vinduro,s and buy myself a modern bike, just incase they start these mod events down this way, shit day if they do though as its great seeing the Pre 85 enduro bikes doing laps, it would be sad to see them back collecting dust in the shed.....

Hey Mick
If you like riding your Pre-85 then why not keep on riding it.
My Vinduro bike of choice is my 1979 IT175F with it's short travel non-linkage suspension.
It is still an excellent bike and I love riding it.

mboddy what I'm saying is I dont want to see any 85 to 89 bikes riding under the Vinduro banner and if some get there way then in will come pre 95 bikes :-\ under Vinduro banner what a forking joke that will be.

I Have no Problem if there is going to be mod bikes at these events, but take away the Vinduro name and just call these events ( enduro bikes of the passed ) because there is nothing Vintage about Pre 95 bikes.

Hi Mick
I organized the Conondale Vinduro last year and the rule was pre90 ENDURO bikes, I think there were two pre90 bikes, a DT175 & a KDX.

I made it that because IMO unlike MX there were follow on model enduro bikes being made after 84, as well as the Euros were still in it.  So would you not allow an 85 IT200 or an 88 KDX200?

Anyway I don’t know anyone who’s out looking for an 89Mod bike just so they can go faster at a trail ride, In fact most want to find older rarer bikes.  I know I won’t be getting off my EVO bike.

I won't be trying for Pre95.

BTY I don’t much like the name Vinduro, but who care’s.

Reply, ok well then call it Pre 90 ENDURO as you say, but not under the Pre 85 Vinduro Banner.

Reply, I do out of respect for those that brought in Pre 85 Vinduro.

Cheers Mick.

Recieved an e-mail overnight advising the Kyogle Vinduro has been postponed  :(.The e-mail states that they will try for a new date and advise all of this.I know Northern NSW copped the worst of the recent wet weather.Bugger,so looking forward to going.God certainly knows when and where to pee on these events.

I'm pleased it's been postponed. I was thinking of riding but it's my wifes' birthday this weekend and it didn't really fit with her me going off for the weekend on her special day. Now I get to stay in the good books and possibly get to ride what looks liike a fun event... a real win, win result perhaps.

Looked at Kyogle Dirt bike club web site. They are hosting a Vinduro meet on the 18th and 19th of this month(July).Which had previously been postponed due to the big wet, which saturated and flooded, the entire North Coast of NSW, and surrounding areas.
Get in quick.
