« on: October 08, 2007, 07:00:26 pm »
Hi lads,

Would anyone have jetting specs for a Mikuni for a Honda CR480RD.
I'd like to fit one to my 480.

Any ideas anyone??

Cheers,
Mark.

What's wrong with the Keihin?
What is the size of the Mikuni?

Hi Lozza,
Nothing really wrong with the Keihin, although I suspect its worn.
I have Mikunis on all my other bikes and understand them well and have heaps of jets etc, so its more simple for me to have a Mikuni...
And if they can make a Bultaco run and start reliably - then I want a Mikuni!!
Its a 38mm size Mikuni.
Cheers,
Mark.

Few choice lines there i could use.......... :-X

Anyways, needle and needle jet would be a suck it and see job, but pilot could start arond the 65/70 mark and the main around 380/390.Something to begin with...............
