8)Thanks it was a bit of a mess when I got her been used as a river bike down Christchurch way, built by one of the guys from the Honda shop I am told back in the early 90's.
I hand formed the side panels, cleaned up the tank, fitted the slimmer seat, new pipe & plastics

What type/size bars do you have on that? They look nice and high.

Sorry I don't know the brand, the rise is 100mm, I have a black pair which are Ventura brand made here in NZ which are the same, the model stamped on them is 20U which does not appear on there website but they still make chrome bars & they look to be as high in the pictures so it would be worth asking the question.

Cheers

Yep 100mm to the bend & 130mm at the end of the bar, they do look about 200mm so I went out in the shed & checked again, they are the tallest set on any of the eight bikes.

I know it will not fit in a XL175 just to big had look at that one a month or so ago >:(, but I am working on fitting one into a XLS 250 frame which is looking good just have to make the bottom rails up to suit the 350 engine, now all I need is a side port frame & motor so I can get on with my pre-75 project. :-X

A xl 350 side port fits straight in to a xl 250 moto sport frame.

Hey Dave,
I've got a few XL250 frames and I think 1 XL350 frame amongst the pile, I think they are are all around '76 though. You can have one if you can use it.
Cheers,
K

The 250 and 350 frames are the same except the swing arm which is shorter on the 250.

This is the bit I find interesting?? Seems that if you ride a 250...it's said you should use the longer 350 s/arm. But if you ride the 350.....then you use the shorter 250 s/arm. ??? So I guess it all depends on riding style as to which you use?
