i am after a 1981 pe400x project/complete bike doesnt matter if its not a runner just has to be mostly complete i can organise the interstate freight if needed just looking for this specific model thanks alot Michael. :)

it must be your lucky day. There is one for sale in the Motorcycle Trader Magazine issue 217 april 14 - may 7 page 163. Its advertised as a 400 T but it clearly looks like a X. Asking price is $2000 firm.

it would have been my lucky day if it said something like $100 firm ;D only really need a project it may have to sit for a while please pm me if your in Australia and have a pe400x you wont to get rid of thanks Michael. :)

the one i saw listed was no show pony and definitley is a project needing some work but looked farily complete but suffering from the usual faded plastics and shabby looking alloy parts and paint work. Gone are the days where you could get a PE400 for a couple hundred. They are only going to get more expensive. Having said that there was 3 on ebay a few weeks back for the bargain price of $1300 with no bidders.

also that 250 ive seen but i really like my 400's i have two to get another or 3 would be good anyone know the seller i will get in contact if possible thanks Michael. :)
