For my money I'd go with a mesh suit providing it has the back protector.

I have had a Dainese for ages and despite it's short comings (Fiddly shitty little zipper and mesh seams eventually coming apart in places - hey it's old like me) the thing is great.

From day one I have worn a t-shirt under it and have to say it can be a bit on the hot side but with the integral 'Armidillo' back protection and elbow guards it's enjoyed more than a few get offs and it has done it's job every time!

One time when I didn't have it on and fooling around on a trials bike trying to MX it resulted in a grade three AC joint separation which was a good party trick that highlighted the need to adequately protect yourself, but the ugly stuff I can do with the left shoulder was sort of worth it, lol !!!

See you at the back of the pack  ;)

G`day i use a EVS BALLISTIC JERSEY i retail them for 200.00 including post. I rolled the outfit last year and it worked very, well busted the armour ,but better a 200.00 armour than a shoulder. The EVS 2 has good collar bone protection as well. 07 3821 6777

Exactly the same here! Do you think the mesh suit would've protected you completey or just lessened the severity of the separation? I have one of those plastic body armour things that I wasn't wearing at the time, I wonder how much/little it would've helped...

I think the suit saved me from extra damage . Iwouldn`t use one of the hard plastic roost protectors -i have seen 2 of them shatter and leave sharp shards of plastic exposed ,the one s i had for sale i sent back and will not sell them after i seen that happen

The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.
