It looks like the LH lower fork leg is bent?

If you buy it you can ship it with one of mine that is leaving the UK soon.

Not too bad looking.  Be worth picking up at the right price.  A 78' VB for sure.
It has those strange aftermarket side covers which I have seen on a rare occasion.
Pipe looks decent.

Looks pretty good Sandy. I'd say the sidecovers alone would make it worth it. A lot of effort went into them obviously due to all the FIM crap at the time. I've never seen these type in Oz however there seem to be a few with them on The Continent. The rest of it looks pretty good too. Even the aftermarket guards look the part so I dont think there's a thing I'd do to it if I bought it. Maybe a seat cover. Buy it! ;)

At 800 quid/ $1600au I reckon it would be good buying.  If the mechanicals are as good as promised it would be good value at $2500 (whats that, about 1100GBP?).

It has non original guards (but period sensitive ::)) and poxy front number plate.  Both are available - good ones are a bit exxy, but available. Non original bars and lever but all easily and cheaply replaced. A pretty easy resto or racer ;)

I don't like the side plates but that's my problem ::).

Congrats :). Is it gonna be a resto or racer?

When you get it home and fired up you'll find if it was a bargain or dog :P. But at this stage it looks like good buying.
