TS185L vs TS185ER pistons?
« on: April 22, 2009, 08:50:58 pm »
I have a '74 185L in need of a piston kit.
I also have a brand spankers 185ER piston kit.

Yes/no?

YES that is fine as Wiseco sell the same pistons for all 185's 71 onwards.

how many more people can there be that have a 185 project, seems like every man and his dog has one. ;D

As a matter of interest, if one was to come upon a complete, unmolested, road regestered TS185 or TS250, K or L model what would be a fair price to offer if wanted to buy it? Do they have a high collector value associated with them?

Not a high dollar value IMHO, but anthing that old and unmolested has a fair degree of collectability.

I've got mine because its got < 1000kms on the (working) speedo. Sadly, its been sat somewhere damp, so the plated metal bits are all crusty - it needs a big cosmetic resto, but things like the original unbent handle bars and original grips etc, keep me motivated.

Leith, thanks.
