If my eyes don't decieve me it has 'Borille' on the tank? If it has it was built by an Italian genius/craftsmn Guiseppi Borrile which IIRC was the G from GM laydown speedway engines.He was one of the first people to make carbon fibre end cans in about 1985 plus a host of other innovations well ahead of thier time.Does this type of thing for any other reason than fun and he can. There was a test in AMCN of one of his speedway engines married to a 6 speed box in a bespoke frame with the distictive polished aluminium tank.

but....genius is oh so close to insanity and...

it's still fugly, 2 metre wheelbase..good for straight line stability I suppose, TM400's needed that so the legend goes. Good on whoever built it but it makes my stomach turn

I like Cheneys take on the TM400 better. Specials are better if they are actually special...like the HL500 that was years ahead of the curve.

I also like the Cheney TM 400 but had a squiz at Firkos Boyd and Stelling the other day and it's an interesting take on the TM as well. It's got some weird features but it's extremely light and the adjustable steering head is pretty unique and simple. It definitely isn't a bling show bike but will still draw some attention at CD6. I reckon that Italian alloy TM400 is a sidecar without the chair, the grab handle and long wheelbase are deadset givaways.
