I just finnished this 84 CR500, I built in on a '81ish works bike theme, now I don't know if it looks good, weird (yellow weird) or if I should go back to original?? ??? ??? ???

i reckon it looks really good if your going to race it who cares nothing wrong with seeing something a little out of the ordinary i hope my shed will look like that one day i mean its already full for its size i have 4 bikes to myself trying to find one for my little brother and now that rusty sold me another pe400 me and dad can both ride one i need to get me and mxer where do the chargers go thanks Michael. :)

Looks pretty good to me although I think the fork boots might look better black or red. No biggy though.

I prefer the blue seat look as it captures the mid 80's works bikes that imo are the best looking works bikes of all. The bike still looks the goods. I reckon it would look better in real life than in the photos .

I think a blue seat looks better and if the radiator shroud matched the tank but i'm being picky.

are those air scoops original or are they radiator shrouds off a water cooled model?

heres one 84 CR500 that i found  us ebay a little while back and looks really cool...
wouldnt mine copying it..although id have to change the blue to yellow on the side and number plates....
never happy... ;D

HHMmmmm, Yooos are right I gotta loose the black seat for a blue one and the Yellow fork gators have got to go,(I know someone who will just love those), I think I'm gunna loose the screen print on the swingarm too. :-\

They are reproduction DC plastics, special order in flash red.

Where did you get those mock radiator/  airscoops shrouds?  I have restored a CR 500 like yours and that is all I need to complete the bike
By the way the bike looks good
