YZ250F 1979 Mikuni Carbie 38mm Wanted dead or alive
« on: April 15, 2009, 10:32:18 pm »
Gday Guys,
I am after a Carby for My bike which i recently got off Evilbay. Some one had glued the little post on that holds the needle and seat lever. So when i pulled it apart it broke in my hands

Brett, I've got one from a 250F. Its to go onto my RT1 racer, but I'd happily swap it for another 36 or 38mm Mikuni, of you were keen to keep the correct carb on your bike.

Hey Nathan,
I got another vm38 carby today from a mate of mine. The thing is, the inlet flange on a standard yz carby has about 10 mm of parrallel section, the one i got today has about 25mm therefore i would have to cut it down to use my standard airbox setup. so if you were intending to us a pod then it would actually be more suitable however if you were runnin an airbox it may not be suitable at all.
Cheers Brett
