WR 400

Bought this husky off ebay recently thinking I'd do it up but in
reality I'll probably never get round to it so I've decided to sell it .[it was
nearby and I didn't think it would go for my max bid]
It needs a barrel ,piston possibly a rod and the crank checked at least.
Missing lhs plastics,  tank seat and other plastics good.
Be good if you've got one the same plenty of good parts or could be restored if
you know your way around these bikes.
If it was a spanish bike I'd keep it but although I admire Huskies I'm not really a
enthusiast although I may have to be converted if it doesn't sell.
By the way on the plate it says it's a 400WRX 1985 model.
To give you an idea  I paid $350 for it, wish I could get a Bully in same condition
for that amount.

Ross, I am restoring a wr 400 as we speek and require bottom end parts so I am very interested in liberating the old girl , WILL PM YOU .Regards Jimbo

I bought a 1985 400 WRX last fall here in USA about 1/2 mile from my house. The story I got with it was that it was a Husqvarna factory sponsored bike in the New England Enduro championship and was rebuilt by Husqvarna after the season and was stored until 2 years ago. The bike has awesome compression but the clutch plates must be stuck together as it stalls when put into gear. It is complete except for lights and front brake cable. I also have a 1986 400WR Enduro in process of frame stripping to repaint original and engine in process of rebuild. Trying to bring back to original as much as possible
