im currently rebuilding an engine for a goldstar, but it has a square barrel. The barrel is BRAND NEW and sandcast. The owner had it cast in QLD for only $800 inc all the machining etc which i thought was pretty damn good. i reckon it would be a hell of a lot cheaper to get new and improved replicas of DG/FMF/Webco head etc made. Im going to see if i can find out the details of this casting place in QLD.
Wanted - 1978 TS185 frame or frame&motor. Frame # TS1852-24007 up to TS1852-39022

I will try and rake up a photo, actually it doesn't look bad, but unlike the Daytona head I wouldn't pay money for that kind bling.

BSA finally slapped the name Goldstar on anything they could find at the end, gave the B50 and A65 some kind of cred..... still you may have a Goldstar, own an LG TV.
