« on: March 30, 2009, 05:23:44 pm »
i know this may be a bit out of period but im selling my '98' xr400 i bought it to register and ride around but i need money for my car fund   ;) bike has bigbore kit in it think its 440 or 480 one of the two has hotcams, stronger lifters ,bigger valves. Go's really well outruns my m8s wr450f '05' but then again could just be the rider  :) haha has most the gear to register blinkers speedo lights just needs to be all wired up another reason i've lost interest  ::) another regretful sale but yours for $2000 will upload photos as soon as possible

Hi Tom,

Just letting you know that the big bore in your XR would be 440cc, not 480 as 440 is as big as you can go. It will be a 4mm overbore, 89mm vs 85mm standard. Just a bit of info for anyone looking at buying  :)
