A helmet size question
« on: March 30, 2009, 12:11:09 am »
Wise ones - I'm looking at buying a road helmet online and it's sized as 'ML'.
Is that 'medium large'? I haven't come across ML before.
What would that equate to in cm or inches?

AGV helmets have those in between sizes. I have a S/M (small , medium) road helmet. Er , which is very different to S&M!

most helmets sold in australia in shops and online will be australian certified and after shopping around on the weekend for helmets i have usually found that if they are not australian certified the website will usually say that its not and say its for private property use only.Anyway i had to ring about 12 shops today to try and find a discontinued helmet i was after. ended up finding a shop that had 1 left in my size and colour. im getting a white Shoei S3B open face.

EVO - just picking up on your point - it needs Snell, Dot or Aus standard but a US helmet with a DOT sticker is OK without Aus standard isn't it?
