If you think resto's are cheap you haven't realised how many $5, $20 and $150 little bits you need and how much it will cost to post them
. And you haven't yet learnt how much 'do it once do it right' really costs
. And you haven't yet learnt how much it costs to undo things before you do them up
. And you haven't yet learnt how much simply repairs really cost
. And you haven't yet learnt how many 'sexy fingers' before you it takes to really screw things up :'(.
The trick is don't keep records, don't add things up in the head, don't tell the missus (or she'l remember and remind you at the most inopportune moment) and always use the lowest guesimate
.
If you are thick skinned
, love any old bike and enjoy a beverage or two you should fit right in
