a lot of long term forum members i know
have gone and no one has noticed
because they just left
were not happy with the way it was going on forum
but didnt say anything
so just pulled the pin

and no one has even noticed ::) :o
And that's the way it should be, come and go as you please; read or discard as you please; contribute or suck dry as you see fit - the world's greatest democracy.

'Slamming the door behind you' says more about the door slammer than it does about the door or the door frame.

People come and go, its the way of life. Too much shouldn't be read into it one way or the other. Our life positions change from time to time. Our attitudes change from time to time. And what people say is not always what people mean.

Viva la difference. Live and let live. So let it rip. Say what you want to say the way you want to say it. Just remember you have a reputation to protect and someday that person you piss off here you'll met down the pub, at a race meeting or on the track ;) ;D.

Personally I intend to stay here until you've all left. Then I'll declare these forums a socialist paradise and discuss nothing but Spanish bikes (with myself). It's part of a cunning plan. Aluta continua!

You have to respect a 'cunning plan'!!

…and Freaky, if I stopped watching 'CRAP on TV' I wouldn't be watching much TV would I.

When a woman says "What?", it's not because she didn't hear you, she's giving you the chance to chance to change what you said.

Re: What if I said 'farewell' and nobody cared? There's some interesting comments so far...

Well, If I were to leave entirely I imagine I'd PM Graeme to say "thanks but I'm leaving".
I don't imagine I'd broadcast it on the Forum and the 'caring' bit seems irrelevant.

But I don't think I'd leave entirely; where's the benefit and what's the point?
If someone here gave me the sh1ts it wouldn't stop me liking old dirt bikes.
I'll still need handy tips and info.
I might want to ask a question six months down the track...
And I love the photos - particularly the old back in the day stuff.
How many Members on here? To me a few clashes means nothing in the big picture.
I clash daily at work but I haven't quit there either.

I was hoping to contact one bloke (by PM) who left recently but that's not possible as his name no longer appears.
I can't click on it to allow a PM.
Same goes for his previous posts.

This same bloke posted something a while back and now I'm trying to find it.
I can't think what thread it was in or what the topic was called.
However, I remember WHO posted it.
In cases like that I can click on the Members name and scroll through all his posts until I find it.
But not anymore...
Yeah I know about the 'search' function but for some reason that doesn't always yield results.

I'm not snakey on anyone who's left. We all respond differently.
Seriously, no tone intended in all this, I respect their decision - but hope they'll return.
Anyhoos, I'm just raising some points on a really good Forum coz I can't sleep and it's 0230hrs Sunday morning (despite what the dodgy Forum clock says...).

And being a Member here means I can! ;) :D ;D
"Whadaya mean it's too loud?! It's a f*ckin' race bike!! That pipe makes it go louder - and look faster!!"

That is exactly the way I look at it too, Wombat .

Can I give positive feedback on your posting?  Outstanding value, lightning fast and extremely well packaged ;D

I warned you to lock this down Graeme before it turned into another soap opera....too late.

I think what this site needs to boost it is the same as any popular TV soap thats falling in the ratings....
