How is that 'chamber' held in place? A wish and pray? The Cota had a big exhaust nut which I can't see. No manifold, no springs, no nutthing ::). Jam and pray ;).

Ya gotta love the sellers optimism !!!

"Missing parts are - seat, kickstart, gear lever[should arrive any day], coil, and rear brake pedal shaft assembly.

Motor turns over, has ok compression, has dual spark plugs, also has pump up front forks.

I guess when it all comes down to it, most of the bike is present, you could certainly get it up and running pretty easily"

And wonder if the gear lever (should arrive any day) is from an Ossa to maintain the Spanish influence.

Good luck to him !

Seen the bike, (oh dear), and the seller wouldn't budge under $500 about a month ago. Even $300 is a tad optimistic.
Cheers,
K

It would take a particular type of masochist to buy that bike even at $300 ::).

Everything is either rusted, faded or butchered :P. And the rest would be a 'pig in a poke'.

Well, wouldn't you know it, but the engine is an 11M!  Pretty much the rarest of all Montesa's.
Saw an original 11m in very good condition in the UK go for almost 10 thousand USD a couple of years ago.
