Early Speedway Sidecars

While hunting the net for a little local Ekka Speedway history I stumbled upon this sidecar site. Probably way behind the times but I thought a link to it maybe of interest to some who like me witnessed many great sidecar races at the Ekka in the 70's. For the record, as a kid my hero of the local chairs was big Ron Johnson on his black Vincent 8) he also kinda looks a bit like Lozza I reckon ;D that be him on the right in the first picture below. Check the size of the rear sprocket, the Vincent certainly didn't lack any mumbo 8)

Lozza in leather. Spose its not a bad look unless he was entering the doors of the old Criterion as islington  ;D
