Are Pirelli MT320 Tyres any Good?
« on: March 11, 2009, 09:12:11 am »
I hope so, I just bought these....

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270352735192

I figure half price can't be too bad. And between the The VB and my Bitza they'll get used, even as 'roll me around' rim protectors :D. And Monties did come with Pirelli's , bonus ;D.

If you like them you might keep an eye on the seller's site, he has a bundle of 6 for $300 which I was toying about.

Excellent tyres for all conditions except deep sand and sloppy mud, where they are OK but not perfect. Great value for money, the only problem is the rear tyre being 100/100 -18. Great for 125's, OK on 250's a bit like a cheese cutter on big bores. Get them while you can, as the supply has dried up for the moment. These tyres come off the Yamaha TTR125's & 250's when they go through the ADR stuff. They are sold to a wholesaler in Vic who then on sells them to the shops at a discounted price. I used to sell every one I could get but I now have a hoard I'm keeping for my own use until the supply comes back. They can't tell us when that will be though.
Cheers,
K

Ah! Thanks for the insight and the confidence in buying them. I didn't think I could go far wrong. I wasn't certain about the size especial the rear but I don't think they'll have to handle 45bhp at the back wheel ::). Cheers, Thanks again.

Have a set on a Cr250m2. Bought them off Ebay as a set. Found there not real good in sand or sloppy mud. Other then that great for natural terrain and the Brissy track. Darcy :)
I might not be winning,But I'll be grinning

good for hard dry conditions. Bridgstone 404's for my personal preference. Work really well everywhere.
Maico's, the only way to go.
