Please explain
« on: March 10, 2009, 12:33:51 pm »
Would some kind person please explain  what "lol" means ?? It appears in every second post and is giving some people the shits ( OK me!!) as I thought it meant "lots of luck". Most of the time this does not make sense with the subject. Look explanations of  any of the other lazy texting acronyms that are used here frequently would be useful too. Tim754

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

Hey Tim - get with the program - LOL - been in PC use for yonks!

LOL = lots of laughs. pretty much means the person sending the info is either enjoying what they are submitting or otherwise just tryng (sometimes in vain - some sad shits are never happy) to brighten the lives of others

LMFAO = laughing my F****** arse off

RAOTF = rolling around on the floor laughing

There are more out there - sure others can add to this and throw in other acronyms

BRB - be right back - Dave Mac, LOL  :D
