Now that's what I call a clutch :o ;D.

Looks pretty 'worksie' as well. What's the story Red?

(N81-10 doesn't look exactly production either :P).

I know the old owner. Its a works engine in a production frame with the pipe rerouted,1984 side panels and a works swingarm and brake torque arm plus works forks. The bike is ex Holland and was brought by a US collector who sold it on to the curent owner last year.Hey red any shots of the other side of the bike?
I know someone who is building something similar....

I reckon theh 1984 sidecovers are the best and as you can see it can be done and even raced with them on!

actually im pretty sure i am right. i am looking at a WP knobby fork kit in a article and the cap with 2 flats and the damper knob in the center with the air valve looks exactly like the ones on this suzuki. Im not saying the triple clamps are WP, just the top caps/fork internals. Also since its from Holland strongly suggests WP fork inners. Same reasoning as the Twin Air air box and Tecnosel seat.

very nice and interesting suzuki....ive noticed there are some numbers and letters on the side of
the rubber inlet manifold....sometimes that tells you who the factory motors belong too... :)

The pipe doesn't look rerun to me the plug is angled to the left, there are trimmed fins on the right of the head and chamfered fins on the right of the cylinder.Looks like the TM carb got left behind in the move???.The clutch cover looks to be just fabricated out of a few odd castings ................

Trust me the pipe was rerun but remember its a works engine in a production frame so its likely the original engine did have the pipe from the RH side..
Hey Rusty any chance you could email me some shots of your RM 500 in the 125 frame please, especially shots of the engine mounting. I have a cunning plan, my email is [email protected]
Cheers mate
