C&J XR500 color scheme
« on: February 20, 2009, 07:26:58 pm »
quick opinion poll, do I paint it red or do the Mugen thing and make it white.

So far it is 2 votes for Mugen white with nickel frame and 3 votes for red.

I see red ...

Also if you could please send some of the frame when you have stripped it, some detailed, as many as possibe. I still have the XR/CR C&J-replica in the back of my head ;)
Thanks

Well as I have NOS M Robert euro style red rear guard and clean red tank in stock looks like the reds might win. I have really bombed XR540 motor, be interesting to try that baby out.

It was Honda CR not Husqvarna CR this time....

I just like to mess around with the grinder and welder :)

You need to use that rearfender with numberplates, and polished alu triangel sidecovers...

Yep those little Italian bikes need some grunt. Guess you can do a Curtis style XR with  Husky frame, it is just an HL with another motor dropped in it and you alreday have one to copy.
