Most bike shops have after market ones that fit and Suzuki still sold originals last time I checked.

Dodgee had issues getting the brake cable for his TM250 not long ago also Alison, had to source it from the US as there was little to nothing to be had locally. Cost was $35US + shipping (about $50au delivered) :-\

did find this info on the forum  ;D
John, did you end up finding a close match for your airbox to carb boot ? I have mentioned in the tech talk section a while back , that the junction rubber on a toilet between the delivery pipe & the bowl might work in some situations like this . I can think of no better source for a part for a Harley, than something off a toilet  Grin. The toilet delivery pipe measures around 52mm( I think it would easily stretch to 55mm) & the porcelain bowl inlet measures around 80mm ( although I think the rubber is stretched about 10mm to go over it). The junction rubber is only about 60mm long though , making it 25mm too short . You could easily extend either end , by using a small piece of stainless exhaust tube as a coupling & 25mm of radiator hose (just means that you would have 4 hose clamps in there instead of 2) .    ;D
cheers and thanks for any input Alison and Steven WA

This was a problem for me on my TMS185 project and I solved it with a 100mm section of 57mm I.D straight silicon hose (one of those pieces you see connecting turbo intercoolers etc)

CG - thats a good idea.  Steve also check out the Sudco catalogue as they carry absolutely shiteloads of varying carby connectors/pipes/manifolds etc etc etc - even found a NOS one to mount up to a CR250 with a GEM conversion??

cheers

just make sure its soft enough to roll back or squish up or you will do your narna every time you want to mess with the carby.     >:(

There is nothing mor frustrating then trying to fit a Hardened rubber between to points.  I prity sure i came close to tears the last time it happend, push on one ...push..... pullll..push arrrgh fecking thing go on...... :'(

pop out the 2 or 3 airbox mounting screws and element, move it all back a little and fit the airbox rubber beforehand..sometimes it's easier and saves a lot of cursing. When working on the bike at the track I loosen off the clamps, remove the slide and simply turn the carb on it's side for internal adjustments rather than removing it completely ;)
