isn't that the point of freestyle.....you get rid of that annoying racing and just keep the part that could get you killed.  ???

What goes up must come down  :o

Sad but inevitable - what scars me are the wannabe's out there who we never hear about who are lying in in spinal wards and other places after stunts gone wrong.

This shit is just one reason why alot of kids aren't allowed to enjoy the wonderful world of motorcycling in any form  >:(

And Mr and Mrs Lusk's son is now DEAD!

I'm in two minds about this 'sport'. :-\
Watching the multi-angle slo mo replays on the telly impresses me with their sense of timing.
Watching them live at the Ekka and Bike Week etc I have my heart in my mouth, so to speak.
It's ballsy stuff and scary as f*ck - and there's no way in this World I'd allow my boy to try it!

How does the average young kid learn this 'skill' without major f*ck ups?
Like the last bloke, I also wonder how many are lying in Hospital wards - and wishing they'd stuck to skateboards and graffiti.
"Whadaya mean it's too loud?! It's a f*ckin' race bike!! That pipe makes it go louder - and look faster!!"

Unfortunately, this happening was only a matter of time, not a remote possibility. :'(

Maybe people will rethink where Freestyle is going...maybe not.

But when people like Travis Pastrana stop doing it because it's too dangerous, well that says it all for me.  ::)
