Waking up this morning to here the news of now 25 dead, with the possiblity of more, it certainly is a damn tragedy. I pray that some of the Viper Members that live in the Kinglake area and any other members who are within these bushfire affected areas are safe & well. Hats off to the CFA, volunteers & all relevant departments under these difficult circumstances.

Any news on Drakie's mate who hosted the first Vinduro at Castella?

Just heard the beatiful little hamlet of marysville is gone.

i really used to enjoy going there for a ride in the bush or a drive in the car.

Just looked at the map and GMC lives pretty close to the worst of the fires. There hasn't been much on here from any of our Victorian members. Watching the news and it's worse than I ever imagined, I can't believe the devastation...

Just finished watching the news and it's all bad isn't it?

There were fires around Kilmore, which of course is where we stayed when we organised CD4.

On the news, they mentioned that if things got bad again, Broadford and Yea could come under threat.  But at this stage it looks like they have been spared, so hopefullly GMC is OK.
