Happy to do so we've had about a metre in the last week.  Local flooding etc, but nothing like Ingham which is only a bit over an hour away.

Take care mate.   Best wishes to all those struggling with the heat - hopefully you are all clear of the fires :o :o.
Looking for YZ250C parts NOS if possible

Thanks Tony well the fire is under control now but there is a lot of damage and it only started as a grass fire but spread quickly to the housing estate's .

What a shit of a week, production has suffered, despite the insulation & aircon in the workshop.
Like many of you I've been hiding indoors looking on here today but mainly watching the fire sites, we have a bad one just south of us & heading away, some of my family have had to leave their homes, now it seems the wind is changing, we're surrounded by smoke but don't really know whats in store for us. :o

I pity the firemen (& women) they shouldn't need to fight fires on days like this.

I really feel for these people and fire fighting folk.  :(
We live in the forest and the day it gets over 40 blown an easterly and I smell smoke, I'll be taken the hard drive, pets and gone.
Pump and hose isn't gonna stop hell on earth, the bomber will try there best of course.
We love the isolation and life style but it can have its draw backs, especially with weather/fire like you are experiencing.
best wish's to all... stay safe.

Hi All,

Just a quick note to anyone you may know who has entered for the Club Champs at Blue Rock tomorrow, please let them know it has definately been cancelled due to the fires. The Secretary & her family have the fire licking at their back fence & are currently still fighting the fires as we speak. Fingers crossed that all will remain safe.

My mate had one of the fires get within 200m of his house, but the wind change and other people saved his and others houses, but sadly many houses just near are all gone, i heard there is fires near Steves place Kinglake area and not far north of him, were the Castella Vinduro was held, best wishes to you Steve and family i hope it stays away from you.

As for the scum-scums? that lit some of these fires, my words for you are not fit for a Public forum.

Mick.

Tim's part of the world hasn't come up in any of the reports I've seen.

Having been in Chapman on the day of the Canberra bush fires, I really do feel for the people this affects. Its forking incredible, and its forking awful.
The good thing about telling the truth is that you don't have to remember what you said.

Thanks for your concerns .I do not live near any fire area at present. I live on the flat plains farmland of north central Vic I am not now permitted front line duties fire fighting duties, being in a communications role. GMC is in the thick of hell hope your safe friends. Yours Tim754

I may not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it.

It all sounds bloody horrible. I was in Canberra during the fires just as Nathan was so I know what it's like. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those in the area. Hope GMC is OK!!
