Agree, just got some Sidi Crossfire Boots for boy child and they cost $457.42 Aus or $300 US.
They cost $700 locally....We buy local 7/8th time.
Of course a bike is a bit different.  :P

yeah its a pain the exchange rate, but to get a lot of good stuff that you can't find anywhere else then I still use ebay. But I think the real bargain bikes are the nicely built ones in OZ and NZ.

A friend of mine had a TM 250 74 MODEL for sale on ebay, and know one bidded on the bike, and he wanted $3500 for it race ready. l beleave he has still got the bike, So you could have that bike it your shed right now, check your back yard first before stretching the dollar for oversea bikes.
cheers

l got a yz 250 a, the bike was like new, but wasn`t that happy with it, the engine was sandbasted, the rims sandbasted, hubs were sandbasted, the stripes on the tank where yellow not red.
so l moved it on, but the bike has been put back to its orginal form. Paul

l hope so, hard to buy bikes when you don`t see them in the flesh, to fare away, that is the risk you take, its good to be honest.
