Nice job ! Hey, are they those huskyjunk.com tank restore decals ? Vinyl stick-ons where once there was chrome ? What's your verdict now that they're on ?  8)

Thanks GD66

The bike has a later model aluminium tank fitted and the parts you refer to are polished aluminium , but having said that my mate Darren has the stick on decals on his tank with a clear coat over and they look sensational. So either way is good result.

It has offset triples , frame mod's , pipe mod's , fat foot pegs with mounting mod's , bar risers with widened fat bars. All the structural mod's were by my mate Darren.

My mate Pete supplied the tank and numerous other components and was also a great help in the assembly of the whole thing. He gave up most of last Sunday to help me get it over the line .The plastics are usually white ,  we had DC plastics do us a set in red for something different.

The original 72 model tanks are steel and quite roundish in shape, the later model tank definetley looks better.

When the time is available , although the motor is good , the old CR power plant will get a freshen up , we have all the bit's but at this moment not the time.

Having said all that ,We are very pleased with the finished product and look forward to riding the beast.

Thanks to my mates in team Husky for all the guidance and help, Im very time poor and without all the help i probably , well would'nt get some of my projects over the line

Look out for the team somewhere soon ,a yellow , blue , red and orange husky of the near same model's , that will be us.

Shoey

Your in anyway Rusty regardless of wether you have a husky or not.

The 450 your doing will look fantastic and that now makes five of us with that or similiar model.

That 125 looks a treat and they go really well , They handle extremely well but are just a little under powered compared to the other brands. Im sure will  hot rod it and fix the power issue.

Footpegs are from huskyjunnk in the USA .Check out the huskyjunk website or Drop Chuck an email at [email protected] , very cool guy and very prompt or Geoff Morris at GMC does a fantastic mod . to the standard husky pegs. Both are excellent and i only got the pegs from chuck as i was purchasing some other products..

MMMM black , very nice Rusty . Too right , the photo will look fantastic. Im pretty sure all the different coloured bikes will be at CD-6

Standard position with slight angle change to accomodate modern style ridge on wide footpeg.

10mm reduced offset

Contact Chuck from huskyjunk in the USA for pricing.

If you are tall get the fat bar risers as they greatly improve the riding position and choice of bars.
