KX ID please
« on: February 02, 2009, 06:09:02 pm »
Hi Guys,
I've been trawling the net for KX sites that give ID numbers but can't find any.
Trying to ID a KX 250, has rear disc & conventional forks.
This should make it either 87 or 88?

I was on the US Kawasaki site the other day and there was a page where you could enter the VIN number to get info on a particular bike.

http://kawasaki.com/DefaultFrame.aspx?strContentURL=/SITE/VIVEHICLEINFORMATION/VICHOOSEVEHICLE.ASP

Alas, when i tried it with a vin for a bike i found for sale on bikepoint it replied: "Not working at this time, please try again later" or something to that effect.

Kawasaki info seems to be thin on the ground on the net. Would it be fair to say that they are the least popular of the big four?? With some models being exceptions of course?

Ben

Send the frame & engine numbers Geoff, I will be able to tell you what you have.
Cheers,
