CR125m 1974 frame engine and pipe
« on: January 29, 2009, 12:36:26 pm »
I am reliving my youth and rebuilding a Greenstriper and despite having a core bike that I thought would work it is really a shitter so I am appealing to anyone who can help.

I am after;

An unmolested 74 frame

A set of 74 cases without the usual damage from a chain throwing episode

A repairable chamber

Cheers

Good luck with that one  ;) ;D

I have two sets with the usual rooted bit, it's only how rooted that varies...

I was on my Elusive hunt for a YZa today and following up a lead found to my amazement i found out the guy has a stash of NOS Cr 250 and 125 engine parts, ready to build some Race motors with, he still never has got round to it and im telling you there is some great gear in there, then he went on to tell me a guy he knows has some metisse and rickmans in his shed but wont part with them either.  I always find it interesting this stuff is stashed away for a rainy day, and its out there, worse still its next door.  I missed out on a YZinger by 3 weeks that was only a few blokes away and noone in the town knew he had it. and i have been asking around for 12 months solid. i guess what im saying is its still out there, its just some times involves some luck and a bit of leg work.. ok a lot of luck.  but its out there  ;)
