OIL MIX FOR A 125 ABC ????
« on: January 22, 2009, 01:24:58 pm »
OK ALL YOU RM 125 C OWNERS. IM INTERESTED TO KNOW WHAT OIL AND WHAT MIX YOU ARE RUNNING IN YOUR RMS. THE BOOK TELLS TO RUN A 20 TO 1 MIX. THE BIKES ARE RUNNING ON THIS MIX WITH PREMIUM BUT THEY ARE A LITTLE ROUGH. IM THINKING MAYBE THE OIL IM USING AND MIX SHOULD BE A LITTLE DIFFERENT ???

on the PE list, we have found that most of the guys are best between 20:1 and 32:1 - higher and things tend to wear and fizzle...
If you tootle around try 30. If you go 10/10ths, 20 seems to produce the most power. That's what our consensus seems to be.
Hope it helps.
