Sun rims

can any one tell me if Sun rims are any good? from what i see they dont have dimples for the spokes. is this good or bad? are they an american or japanese brand? has anyone else used them? im trying to work out what to get for a PE 250.
Wanted - 1978 TS185 frame or frame&motor. Frame # TS1852-24007 up to TS1852-39022

i've laced a few sun rims,(wide buggers,mainly for highly dangerousess ;D),i'm pretty sure they're made in the USA,found them a bit "soft",my fingernails left fine scratches when just spinning the nipples down??,and yes,they also  had no dimples,just a neat flush hole,maybe you should stick to the more commoner dirt rims??,(Akronts,DID etc),hth ,cheers Mick

Used a SUN 2.75 X 17 on my bucket racer , found them fine yes made in the US
