I went yesterday. I just happened to be driving past on the way to my property and there she was...all setting up. I didn't buy anything but I wish I'd bought the PE175 roller for $100.

I think most of the usual suspects were there: Mboddy, Snowy, Dennis, Twistandshout, Graeme Mc, Bill, jimson, Tom, DG26, oldstuff, etc etc. I don't think anyone went home empty-handed.
The swap meet was a lot better than last year - about triple the sellers, I reckon.

I scored a set of Cooper Betors, some reasoanble DT250 forks, an alloy rim, a couple of sprockets and a heap of ADBs from the early 1980s.

But far more remarkable was that there was nothing that I missed out on, and very little that I refused to buy because it was over-priced. Most swap-meets are exercises in frustration because you're stuck with sellers who want a zillion dollars for stuff that's only mildly interesting, while everything you do want has just been bought by someone for about 5% of its market value...

Didn't see - HLs are an abomination in the eyes of the lord! ;D
Pretty sure it would have been a kit bike - there were some bits that suggested to me that it wasn't a real one - just little stuff like gold rims.

Had a chat to the bloke who owned it, though - talked about Coopers and Betric and Classic Dirts. Seemed like a good bloke, esp after he realised that we were "VMX people".

I stayed overnight and scored a shitbox YZ80C for parts ($50), Tom the HL you looked at was a 500 motor in a RM frame, the other bike was a TT500C, their were a pair very sad DT1's with square swing arms asking $500 for each one ??? I broke about even selling and buying parts, it was the biggest one so far for Goulburn, Bathurst is in 2 weeks time at the showgrounds.

Firko, the PE roller sold for $60. I was going to buy it for the shocks but I didn't have much use for the rest. I ratted the speedo, bracket and swithchblock off it for $15. The guy wasn't fussed. He told me he was from Orange and apparently had quite a big collection at home. He was at the recent Black Duck Vinduro.
