Im with Alison, FB is great for a laugh, following your interests [eg. Marc Marques], there are some great groups posting endless photos [eg. HQ owners, Vintage factory, SA motocross past and present] The options are endless. Firko might not want to friend a half forgotten dork, you choose you friends. Getting back in touch with some old school friends can be fun also.
I do agree those that treat it like a diary need to get a life but you can just lay shit on them the same way you do here.
You can message someone just like a email or text that is only seen by the person your messaging

Like anything, use it to your advantage, the world can be in your pocket.

I guess it is all how you use it - pretty much like anything in life.

I find farcebook good for catching up with people I raced against Stateside that use it but don't hang around forums.  With a little tuning you can get it to only show what you want to see .... hell, you can always ignore TMBILL if you see him there  8)

There are some decent groups/pages around that are very interesting to an old curmudgeon like me.
Poke that bone back in and wrap it up tight sport - I am racing the second moto.
