what happened to Trail and Tracks PE 175?

does any one have any information on what happened to the PE 175 Z that Trail and Track magazine did several articles on in second half of 1982? it was their 'project bike' and they did all sorts of mods to it. if anyone knows where to find that bike or at least the front forks off it then please let me know.

oh if if i said it then every one would want them well.... they had a WP fork kit fitted, so if anyone has one of those in RM/PE forks or knows where to get one that might be easier than trying to find this PE, but it was just an idea, i had to start somewhere. Trevor Flood Gassit Motor cycles used to sell them but that shop closed long ago. WP stuff seems really rare, hardly ever see it on ebay. it think chances of finding NOS kit are very slim and most of these are going to be in forks, so the idea was to find a set of these forks with the kit and i knew that bike had the kist fitted.

ADB mag also had a 125 Z or D with this kit fitted. i wonder where that bike is aswell?

oh well that ends that pretty quickly then.......unless someone slavaged it from the dump? gees some people did some shamefull stuff back then, just throwing bikes out. it had a WP shock aswell. i guess it was before vintage scene started up and they probably just thought it was worthless junk.

been there. he had to give back all his stock to KTM Austria.

actually it would help if anyone has part number for these kits. anyone with some old White Power catalogues? any one here used to work at a WP dealer in the 80's?

if i at least have a part number i will just email every WP dealer world wide, which is what i did to find some springs a few years back which worked. emails came flooding in from everywhere and eventually got them from Germany with many communication hassles until someone with good english took over from their end. i would feel confident if i knew a part number and dealers would be more inclined to help but if you just ask for a fork kit to to suit a old vintage RM they would probably think thats ancient and not really have any clue about them.

i know i keep all my old catalogues from back to the 70's for future reference but dont have any WP catalogues

Yes Brent WP was sold back in september , only have very few  WP  parts now , but if you have a number I can still get it , if its available
