i've got an 84 full bike at home but the engine in its not working and they were the first rfvc heads and they had alot of problems with over heating and damaging the hole top end cause they had such a small oil compacity thats why im looking for an 85 engine to put in the 84 frame  :-[

sorry bit out of topic here but i got the 84 engine running and it blows enough smoke to cover the hole bike in under a minute so being honest is my bike completely f@#$ked or is there sum wonderful little solution that isnt guna cost me a million bucks and gets me on my bike riding it? :-[

G'day Tom have you checked ,breather hoses, air filters . Does it come cleaner after a ride .I have a 82 model that blows a lot of smoke but after a weeks riding on the hols it needed 100 ml of oil to top it up .It still goes ok and starts first kick .so if its just a bush hack i would just ride it until something better comes up ,
