twin leading brakes

Can twin leading brakes be used in Pre 78? ???I know they were available before then on road bikes . ive read the rules and they are banned in pre 65 >:( but not mentioned in other years.

I have a 1973 GT185 twin-leader that fits my TM125 and uses the same shoes as a TS250  ;D ;D A little research may turn up something similar for you, what are you hoping to fit one to?
