'71 400 Husky On Any Sunday model
« on: December 09, 2008, 01:06:38 pm »
I'm posting the below for sale '71 400 Husky 4 speed for a friend. This is a genuine two owner bike that has been raced a total of twice in in it's life. It was raced for the original dealer only once by the legendary Vern Grayson before the dealer passed  it on to the next owner who broke his leg on it first time out and promptly parked it for the next 35 years. My friend purchased it from that guy and the bike was torn down and found to be in absolutely perfect condition. Despite that, new linkage components and ring, seals and gaskets were fitted. The bike was meticulously restored from the ground up with nothing overlooked. It's is as good, if not better than when it left the factory with not a cent to spend on it. The Husky comes with a fully restored original steel tank as well as the alloy 'works' tank shown in the photos.
The owner wants $7000 which I reckon is a cheap investment when the bike's superb condition is considered. Drop me a PM if you're interested and I'll put you in touch with the owner.
