PE Ts250/400 speedo

Hi I need a ts speedo that goes up to 160km's it is like the PE one i need a Pe one but cant seem to find one i would like one of those if someone has one for my 1980pe400 that would be good thanks Michael.

very hard to get. regularly go for over $250. look for a TS 400 one. they are better than PE speedos. only cosmetic difference is black face instead of brown and i think the trip meter knob is slighly different shape. TS 400 has chrome ring on bottom bu taht just comes off, its only decoration.

if you really want brown face you can pull apart the speedo and get a sign writer to print a brown face that you can stick over the original black one, or paint the face brown and get the white numbers printed on.

there is a NOS PE speedo on ebay in US from seller two wheels unlimited. i will get you his email.

I know, It's unreasonably expensive but it is important to note that the same 140km/h speedo's adorned TS125/185/250 B,C,& N models and you might find one of those a lot cheaper (you just have to make a bracket)

Hi cyclegod thats the one Leith showed me i do have the Pe400 bracket and im not afraid to modify it to suit just need a similar looking one that goes over 100 for the road thanks Michael.

i did discuss that speedo with a PE 250 B expert in US a few weeks ago and we couldnt really come to the conclusion of if it was truely a PE one. there was several ( about 4 or 5) speedos available for the 77 model. the zedder programe seemed to suggest part number was correct for 250 b as optional fitment but they would be pretty rare. we didnt really know if the seller has just stuck that speedo on a PE bracket either and listed it as that part number.

but as it was an optional KM version thats why you would hardly ever see one on a US PE.

idealy you want one off a 300 X 21 inch front wheel so thats why the TS 400 ones are good. look on asian ebay sellers stores. i found a NOS TS 400 speedo in singapore last year.

they wont have it in stock. they will have to get it from japan for you. will take about 2-3 weeks.
