TM gear lever
« on: September 10, 2007, 05:07:15 PM »
I was hoping to find a N.O.S gear lever for my TM but the necessity for a folding tip led me to a very cool and cheap alternative that fits perfectly!

you sure the splines match? ???

most suzuki's have a coarser spline than all the others.

Like Gorby I've never found a honda or yamaha lever that will fit the suzuki coarser spline, some of the early kawa's did but maybe the CRF50's are different  ???

I bought one of these things as an experiment, I figured that for the low cost I could just right it off as a bad idea if it didn't fit
but it did  ;D. So if my experimental success gives anyone else, wondering if these alloy chinese jobbies will work, the motivation to try it themselves then cool bananas.

Chinese alloy huh ?

I dunno about you guys but changing gears isnt a delicate  procedure with me. Im more of a stomp and flick it in ASAP rider. I will be keen to see how this chinese lever handle a moto.

I guess it will be "Trial and error" if it fails the trial then I know I made an error (thankfully not a costly one)
