Australia’s favourite dirt bike show, MXTV, will take a walk on the wild side with the mad men of sidecar trials in tonights episode at 8pm on Foxtel channel 183 (Aurora). “Sidecar trials is something everyone’s gotta see,” MXTV Producer Brendan Bell said.
“Indoor and outdoor trials, where riders do pretty impossible things like catapult their bikes from a stand still up all sorts obstacles is some of the coolest stuff you’ll ever see.
“But to do it with a side car and a person in it – now that’s insane!”
Bell said the best solo trials riders in the country would also be featured on tomorrow night’s episode – the MXTV team were on hand at the 2008 Australian Trials Championship to bring viewers all the action.
Hot trials coverage won’t be the only draw card for viewers, Bell said the show would also see the return of one of its most popular new segments, ‘Blokes and their Bikes’.
“The exciting new episode will also feature a segment on the latest and greatest machinery on show at the 2008 Australian Motorcycle Expo,” Bell said.
“‘Factory’ Matt is back doing what he does best, he’ll be checking out the new neck support system from Alpinestars.
“Chad Talbot will also be back with his popular new-format mechanical tips.
“Chad’s tip is a cracker this week, particularly if you’re someone that likes to head out in the bush from time to time.”
Bell said co-host Lee Hogan would round out a jam-packed show with another one of his popular and informative rider tips – “so tomorrow night’s show’ll definitely be a must see,” he said.
MXTV will air every Tuesday at 8pm (7pm for Queenslanders) on Foxtel Channel 183 (Aurora). The show will also be repeated throughout the week.
