Another option is to use a '76/77 RM tank as shown in the earlier Maicos at Glen Helen thread . That is what I plan to do with my '79 MC 440 . I haven't been able to find a tank off a Magnum motocrosser except on US ebay , where they usually go for a fair bit for something full of dents .

i  want to put a polished mx tank on the frankenbike  so i suppose im going to have to pay for one
