It could be genuine or maybe someones bitza.

I seem to remember that Kawasaki America put together a KDX420 for the ISDT. Hmmm.

If it is genuine $225 is a bargain. Even as a parts bike its a snap at $225. Pity it in the good old US of A .

I know USA had KDX models we didn’t have but I cant remember if there was just the 400 and then they went to the 450 or if there was a 420 in between. Im sure it wouldn’t be too hard to import it over here and get some sort of rego on it for Vinduro use. i just thought someone may be interested in it.

They were in US-KDX 450s, in fact both 80 and 81. The KX 420 was a shitbox, not usre of KDX-likley pretty damn good as KDXs are.

There is a nice KDX450 on it's way to Oz now. I beleive it may end up being for sale as the importer is not sure if he will do any Vinduro's next year.

the kdx 400 i had is still in brisbane should be fully restored by now  havn`t seen it at the track tho. i paid 400.00 us for it and 2300.00 to do the moving in us and to get it here + the thieving port costs -350.00 just to wash it ,it had been washed before leaving

Yep 79 or 80. The green frame on the ebay one aint right...all i have found on the Net had black frames.

Shame it is missing the headlight....will be interesting to watch this one.....
