Hoony the megastar

I just finished watching MXTV and the 5 or 6 minute segment Macca did in Hoonys shed was fantastic. Macca, Belly and MXTV should be congratulated for a fantastic effort. They must have a small budget though because there was obviously no makeup on set, a couple of rough melons if ever I saw one. Onya guys, great effort.

That's a great tactic Hoony, he certainly made you look good. He does a great interview though, it came across great.

yes all jokes aside, macca is very good at this sort of thing. He will visit 2 more sheds for this series apparently and then who knows if it will continue from there. Brendan Bell is interested in VMX and has a 1989 CR250RK to have a play with us for '09 series, so it may play on. there is no lack of interesting blokes and bikes down here, so plenty of material for the segment.

i hope it becomes a regular general interest segment on MXTV as it does a bit of promotion as well for our sport.

well Mrs Maico the shed is the domain of Blokes and Blokey stuff you know  , Mrs Hoony is also banned, (althought i know she has done some covert operations in the shed when i have been away  ).

i told her that i won't play in the Tupperware cupboard with the collection of 253 special containers  , upset the broom closet, rearrange the Linen cupboard or touch the bathroom (all Sheila's domains) if she stay's out of the shed.


PS don't mention this to her as i do enjoy my sex life.

Thanks magoo, Hoony did a great job, for those people who are interested segment 4 is now up on the mxtv web site, go to watch episodes, click on 2008 and segment 4 will come up then click on blokes and thier bikes.

Macca is a natural interviewer.  Great effort first up. 

Didn't know you were into speedway Hoony... I'm a big speedway fan from way back (went every week when I was in the UK as a little kid).  The old man has tuned a lot of Weslakes & Jawas in his time, too.
